Slider Nation Opens New Shop in Wudaokou
Beijing’s classic slider purveyors Slider Nation have continued to expand their delivery range by adding a third location out to the west side. And they’re nearly ready to bring their signature Wagyu mini-burgers and duck fat fries to the hungry masses of Wudaokou and the city’s university district.
The shop is located on the third floor of Kaishi Square, a dedicated food and beverage outlet located right outside Exit B of Qinghua Donglu Subway Station, the terminus of Line 15.
Slider Nation's newest location finds itself situated near Wudaokou
The location comes with a bit of nostalgia for both owner Henry and his business partner DJ El-Mar, with El-Mar having attended college at Tsinghua, which is located directly west of the shop, while Henry remembers living in the area 11 years ago.
Henry says the move itself was a bit risky. They had signed on at the location way before China opened up to tourists and students – which finally happened this month.
The new venue even comes with a mini Lego venue
The shop, though small, will soon be able to seat 15 patrons in total, with room for five seats inside and six outside, with four more on the way for the outside.

As for the menu, the shop currently serves Slider Nation’s full range of beef sliders, turkey sliders, duck fat fries, stellar combos and drinks. Henry and El-Ray tell me more is on the way, with small snacks and other stuff planned for the venue.
You can get all their classic menu items here, from Wagyu sliders to duck fat fries and more
Slider Nation’s Wudaokou location is planning a grand opening for some time next weekend, so if you’re in the neighborhood or just want to head over for some sliders and drinks, be ready for a party that’ll go all night.
